Although in this, there will be direct cash to good offer, the CEO said this would help the suppliers in providing products on my lesser price. Credit system would also be available. This cash for good offer would make this platform more competitive for other diamond companies.

This concept if worked would prove that there are better alternatives than credit system. Gold investment is the safest investment today

Gold has always been the safest investment in the history of financial dealings. With the recent financial crisis, many people are opting to rather invest their money in gold, than in any other investment.

The logic is pretty simple. Gold always retains its value, irrespective of whether the world around it is financially high or low. Just have a glance over the chart of Gold prices and how it faired this year. It started at $840 an ounce in Jan 08. The speculators were predicting a quick increase in oil prices, predicting as high as $200 a barrel. Amidst this speculations, Gold shot up to $1012 an ounce in March 08.

Gold prices kept on jumping back and forth all through the early months of this year. Although, more or less, it played between the range of $840 an ounce and $950 an ounce.

So that is approximately 19% increase. Later it dropped from march to September, tumbling down by 25%. Then it rebound back by 20%, then again declined by 18%, then increased again. Finally it closed out in october at $730 an ounce. On the face of it, gold seems to be in red if you see the year to date prices.

The catch here is that you can make good money and profits if you go in and out of Gold fluctuations properly. Gold regains its value immediately after it falls down. Many big investors play around with these fluctuating gold prices and make millions of dollars.

So final conclusion would be, invest in Gold and you will be happy. Go for Gold Jewelry this holiday season, instead of investing in any other plans.

Jewelry Market dips, Drop in sale of high end jewelry

The financial crisis has put the jewelry market into an empty zone with loads of products. With more and more consumers preferring to spend money on fuel and food, jewelry business has seen a decline in the latest market report.

The luster of Jewelry market is lost and most of the companies are relying on the Holiday season to sell the products in the form of novelties, gifts etc. Americans are concerned as to how they would spend on expensive gifts this season. Market analyst say that everybody is trying to cut down, not just the usual consumers, but even the high end brands.

The wealthy consumers are surely feeling the pinch of weak economy and they just don't want to spend on anything less than the bigger brands. They do not go down on their buying and prefer waiting than buying lower brands. For example women who shop only Prada and chanel shoes don't want to go down to Cole Haan, although its an amazing brand.

Analysts say that a person who would buy $30,000 jewelry would drop down to just $10,000 due to the huge financial meltdown. When economy goes down, the first thing that's hit is Luxury market. Jewelry sales fell down since last December with a recorded sales of only $6.5 million as against $6.7 million in previous year, according to the report from Commerce department.

Tiffany's however saw a huge increase in sale from the European travelers. During the Q2, Tiffany got a 2 percent rise in its US sales, thanks to international tourists.

Such a sudden fall in Jewelry market was expected. That is why myjewelpack stores brings you economical jewelry for this season which fits the present economical situation of common household.

Two fake diamond grading reports unearthed, GIA confirms

Earlier this week, lucerene, the Switzerland based Gubelin Gem Laboratory had sent an email alerting that they had in their possession a stone that can be described as suspected forgery. This news spread rapidly until an action was taken.

This alert made by the European Laboratory about the suspected forged stone and hence counterfeit GIA report led to the news spread across europe in no time. Myjewelpack was informed about this just towards the end of the week. Gemological Institute of America (GIA) is investingating two cases which involves stone forgery.

Further into investigation, it was found that this stone under scrutiny was found to exceed 2 carats and has good cut grade, D color and IF clarity. This gives indications that it underwent huge pressure and treatment.

But the reports from GIA do not show any of such treatment done on the stone. According to Gubelin, there is no information in the report that suggests this. Gubelin suspects that the report is fake, taking into consideration its contents and look.

Myjewelpack recieved further reports from GIA who confirmed that two Valid reports seem to be fake, forged in order to make the would be buyer believe something else. Calsbad, a california based Lab is investigating behind the scenes to obtain more information.

GIA also re-iterated that it spends huge amount of money and time in investigating and bringing out forged cases thus eliminating the possibility of any crimes involved in stone trading. They also added that anyone who comes to know about such crimes need to intimate the authorities immediately.
